FOCLE was created from firsthand experience.

We have both seen what happens when Human Resources and Operations only collaborate out of necessity instead of intention. We have watched visions fade, plans fall apart, and resources get wasted when these functions operate in silos rather than in partnership.

We have seen missed opportunities that only become clear in hindsight — moments where shared insight and early collaboration could have changed everything.

Across our careers, we learned this truth in different ways but arrived at the same conclusion:

Healthy organizations are built when people and operations move together intentionally and strategically.

We have witnessed the impact of HR being excluded from key conversations. We have seen how much harder it is for Operations to lead teams, shape culture, and achieve results without strategic HR partnership.
And we have also seen the opposite.

We have seen the momentum, clarity, and confidence that emerges when HR and Operations share a vision — and execute it together from their respective vantage points.

This is why we built FOCLE.

Kelsie is an HR and People Operations leader known for building high-performing teams, stabilizing rapidly growing organizations, and shaping cultures where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to do their best work.

She has led HR functions for global brands, manufacturing companies, consulting firms, and startups ranging from 20 to 250+ employees across the US and China. Her work has enabled companies to double in size, land on the Inc 5000 list, and successfully position themselves for acquisition. At the core of her success is a deep curiosity about people and a genuine desire to build meaningful, trusting relationships.

She brings a balanced, empathetic, and clear-headed approach to both organizational needs and employee wellbeing, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation while helping leaders grow into their full potential.

In my free time, Kelsie is a big fan of traveling to spend time with loved ones, (winning) games that require both luck and strategic thinking, and petting all dogs who cross her path.
